Last Day for Outback Steakhouse Raffle!!!

So far, the raffle and donations have raised $605! Today is the last day to contribute through the chip in but, if you e-mail me, I will put you in the drawing and collect the money later! Check back tomorrow night to find out who is the big winner!

To date, between "Chip In" purchases and cash purchases, $245 has been raised. This means we are half way to our $500 goal (though surpassing our goal would be ok ;)). The Reasons Why

At this time, this blog has only one purpose; to raise money for a little boy in an orphanage in South America. Joey is four years old and has Down Syndrome. All monies raised will go directly to reducing the fees associated with his adoption. Any money directly donated to Reece's Rainbow, in Joey's name, is tax deductible.
Indirectly, this blog will hopefully raise awareness about children with Down Syndrome and other significant special needs living in orphanages around the world.Click on the Reece's Rainbow button to learn more about the work that is done by this organization.

My first blog fundraiser will be to raffle off a $100 gift certificate to Outback Steak House. Every donation of $5 will enter your name into the drawing which will be held on December 16th. Click on the "CHIP IN" button below to buy a raffle ticket. Put Joey's name in the instructions to seller box so the amount is credited to his account. I know we are all in difficult straights right now, but if you can just spare $5, it will add up quickly and hopefully make the difference in regards to Joey finding his forever family before he spends another Christmas in the orphanage.
